Parking Control Solutions

Do you have car parking areas that need to be effectively managed?  We can help.  We know that each car park and each location requires an bespoke solution, but common solutions to different parking areas, which we can configure to your individual needs, are below.

A shopping centre may offer parking for visitors, with a maximum stay time restriction, to stop drivers leaving their vehicle in the car park for an entire day.  There may be parking spaces for disabled badge holders, for electric vehicles, for loading, etc.  These kinds of car parks are usually managed via ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) cameras, timing vehicles as they enter and leave, to ensure that the maximum stay time is not exceeded.

Business parks will usually offer all-day parking for members of staff who work nearby.  The relevant vehicle registrations can be added to a whitelist.  Visitors can also be added to the whitelist via suitably positioned tablets.  The vehicles entering and leaving the business park can be monited via ANPR (automatic number place recognition) cameras.

Visitors to a restaurant, a pub, a cafe, and other similar establishments may be asked to make a payment for parking, or their vehicle registrations can be added to a whitelist via a suitably placed tablet.  Depending on the establishment, a maximum stay period may be enforced, to ensure a steady turnover of visitors.

A pay and display (pay to park) area can be ran in different ways, depending on requirements.  As an example, customers may be required to pay per hour, or per day, or customers may be able to park for free for a period, before a payment is required.  In this post-Covid age, payments can be made online, where motorists log their vehicle registrations.  Pay and display car parks can be enforced via ANPR cameras or via warden patrols.

Residental parking areas are usually reserved for those living nearby, possibly with each resident being allocated a parking space.  There may also be spaces for visitors, depending on the location.  These areas are usually enforced via wardens.

No parking areas are simply areas where no vehicles are authorised to park.  This can be a section of a car park (outside of a fire exit, for example), or an entire area (a pedestrian only area).  This can be enforced via ANPR cameras or via a warden visiting the area.
